Best things about Japan so far ~Zoe and Michelle~
7 Eleven (& Lawson and FamilyMart). You can buy tickets, get breakfast, lunch and dinner, beer, etc.
On day 2 in Japan we were feeling a little tired and wanted dinner in. We had heard that you could get all your meals from the convenience stores. In Hiroshima, we had all three within very short walking distance so we went to all three and grabbed a variety of options. Thomas's favourite was famichicki from FamilyMart. Zoe's was the ice cream and Travis has become a noodle bowl connoisseur.
Gacha - gacha machines are vending machines containing blind boxes, usually for toys. There are stores that house hundreds of machines.
Hotels have everything like razors, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner and even pajamas
Sanrio Stores are everywhere
Malls are also everywhere - with some of our favourite stores being Don Quixote, Hands and Bic Cameras for toys, kit-kats, face and hair care.
